Social Space for Cabool Alumni

I want to pay tribute to the memory of a classmate, Johnny Nevell, who was in my class. He passed away during a tragic accident while we were in school. When I think of him, I think of his cheerful attitude.

Does anyone have any photos they would like to add on here of him?

I didn't know Johnny, but knew a lot of his family, they lived just down the highway from us when I was in school. I have an older bro. named Johnny Bill, wonder if he was named after him?
I just reread what I wrote and feel the need to explain. I know that we were to "old" to be playing on the monkey bars, but we were just hanging there ... upside down, talking and visiting. And I am sure, gossiping. Wish I were agile enough to hang there now....lol
I was just thinking about our 4th grade class, and I think Johnny was in Mrs. Mahoney's class too in 4th grade. Mrs. Mahoney got married that yr. the day after Christmas. She was Ms. Isenburg for half of the year and when she came back after Christmas vac. she had married our P.E. teacher during the holidays. Our class brought her wedding presents and some of those were some that the students had made. I had forgotten until now that Johnny I think was also in the same class as me in 4th grade, my first yr in Cabool Schools. Boy that was ages ago. Mrs. Mahoney turned out to be my sweet friend through out the yrs since school.
I ran with Buford, Danny Summerlin, Norman and knew Johnny well.
