Cabool Space

Social Space for Cabool Alumni

As you gear up to enjoy your Memorial Day weekend take a minute to remember your classmates or fellow alumni that have died in military or civil service for our country. If you see a veteran, Soldier, Police Officer, Fireman, etc. thank them for their service and sacrifices. If you do nothing else fly an American flag at half-staff from dawn until noon in honor of the fallen.

Any ideas on how many of our classmates have made the ultimate sacrifice?

I'm not sure the number. I know my father's generation saw a few taken in Vietnam but not sure how many.

Thanks for the tribute!
There is a memorial on main street that post their names plus the old arch that has the WWl names. We would have to get the names from the VFW or American Legion and make our own "Wall" on this site??? There have been several Vets that have died since their service in Vietnam and WWll. The Funeral home might have a list because they help put flags on the headstone in the cemetary. I think this is a great idea. Thanks RB
