Anyone out there interested in playing in a dodge ball tournament Saturday morning to mid-afternoon on July 5th.

All proceeds go to the CHS:
$15/player or $25/player and get a t-shirt (must register in advance).

Standard rules:
1. Six person teams
2. Progressive rule: catch a ball in air or deflected ball in air person is out and one of your players is back in
3. Step out of bounds you are out
4. Head shots automatic out
5. No crossing center line

Prize:
Champs & Runner Up wins 1st Annual CHS Dodge Ball Tournament Champs T-Shirts for winners (we'll find a few sponsors)

We would try to have it in main gym followed by old gym or middle school whatever we can get in that order.

So who is in?

I'm in Tom. If you don't have six on your team yet. I would like to be on it. Holler at me Seth. Pick Me !
Cool. See who else we can get to get a team together (4th weekend may be tough).

I volunteered everyone but here is my thought:

1. Clint
2. Koehler
3. James (may have to work)
4. Jerald
5. You
6. Me

Tell your bro to get a team together.
Too funny! No thank you! My "mandatory fun" to choose the team to represent Perceptive Software at the Dodge for a Cause tournament once a year is quite enough dodgeball for me! (Did you happen to check out the dodgeball court in the basement when you were at Perceptive?) I'm still having nightmares (and flashbacks to Wallyball at project graduation). -- Donna
Yes, i ran a few dodgeball tournaments up in Lenexa and some of the teams came out of Perceptive. Then for one my clients we came in and got a demo of your wares and they gave us the nickel tour and we saw the room.

That's the best ever!! Although the slide looks REAL painful actually.
I sit right by the entrance to the slide. It's not so bad - actually pretty slow with jeans. Unless you've had a few drinks at the company open house - and then it seems to move a little faster!
By the way -- my husband Sean says that he would be willing if you need another player. He was very jealous that he couldn't play in my company tournament!
If I dont have to work...I'm in....Sounds like fun..
count me in. sounds like a good team you picked.
Hey wanted to let ya'll know that my husband and Donna (Clark) Armstrong's husband would be willing to play on a team if anyone else is interested. Donna and I are NOT playing but will cheer em on. We thought it might be fun if we put together an alumni spouses team so if anyone else is willing to volunteer their spouse let us know. If not enough spouses volunteer then I guess we'd just have to let them play with alumni anyway. LOL
Laura
Great!! So far there are a lot of individuals who said they would play so i'm pretty sure we'll have a couple of ad hoc teams!!

Its a blast not a lot of skill involved :) but a LOT of fun!
