My condolences to Family and Friends! Thanks Tom for posting on here, so I would know. I remember Larry in High School when I was in Jr. High. His younger brother, Randy graduated in my class... Class of 75. My prayers are with you all.

"Bear" Thompson has always been and will always be my Uncle Larry. My memories of him include him laughing and telling stories at family get togethers, helping to teach me how to hunt, and taking me along with my sister and cousins to Hog Creek to go swimming. I can hardly remember him ever being angry about anything. He always prefered to smile. He was a good father and husband. I will miss him.
Bear, I know you're having a great time "upstairs", but I was just wondering....you sure hit hard...I remember in PE, I had the (unfortunate) position as catcher...you ran full speed to home plate, I caught the throw to home plate, looked up, and there was Bear....we collided, I LOST, but don't remember if I held on to the ball...but there you were..smack dab on top of me..we both got up and we both laughed about it....that's the way Bear was, ALWAYS HAD A SMILE!!  Miss ya Bear!!!
