The CLASS OF '86' was the first to have a Project Graduation.

I remember the lip-syncing skills of Mike Rader performing Bad to the Bone. Can we start a discussion of memories from our Project Graduation?

How about taking Kei Abe snipe hunting!!
I remember they were giving away a bunch of cool prizes and then I ended up winning a basket with some jelly in it! Didn't Rackley win a car?
I don't really have any memories that just jump out from Project Grad. I know that we went down to Huneycutt's cabin at some point in the night and I think we wound up at Brian Hunter's farm to watch the sunrise and eat breakfast. If anyone has pictures, that might help refresh some memories. By the way, does anyone have any video of graduation, project graduation, or other HS events that could be shared/copied?
I have a video of some of our bball games our senior year. Your shorts were awfully tight!
How about diving for coins in red jello. Seems like Colleen came out with some red hair. We also got bags with Mr. Mashburn's cartoon drawing "Friends Forever"---I still have mine!!
I think Patty Parker had some of it on a VHS tape. I am not sure if she or Colleen still have it. I don't know about the pictures.
I don't know whether or not there was a video of our Project Graduation, but will do some investigating with my mom. I do have the Project Graduation scrapbook for our class as well as the class of 1987 and 1988. I also have all the slides that were used for our end of the evening show (might be the infamous video). I had several of them copied and put onto CD's for our 20th reunion and intend to get the rest of them put on a CD someday. I'll try to post a few of them on this site as I get time. I'll try to scan the pictures I have of Project Graduation and post those as well.
i don`t rember much either but the coin diving and the slide show.and the hay ride
I remember jellow wresting @ someones house in the woods, then taking a hey ride
out to the lake between Cabool and Mtn. Grove, We had a bonfire I thought and there
was a lot of food to junk on. From there we took a hey ride back to someones house
and watched a slideshow and listened to music,I still remember that song by whitney
Houston(greatest love of all) that was the last song that played. I remember I
didn't have the money to pay for proj grad so the school took care of the cost. I'm
glad they did because I had a great time. Harvey
I got threw in the jello pit with all the girls. Good memories!
I definitely remember Mike lip-syncing, and people in their pj's at the skating rink. Now I have helped with several other project graduations, I realize how much work our parents went to--all those different stops, the huge amount of food, the money they raised, the places that donated prizes. Teri Renee won the car, and that was so cool because she really needed it. Grady and I were part of our Michael's PG last year and of course, this year with Matthew. Having the great memories of ours has made me want even more to make my boys' PG very special. I almost feel guilty at how easy things are now--we rent one location, hire people to set up inflatable games, work at Rams' games to raise large amounts of money. Then the next morning after staying up all night, it doesn't feel so easy and I realize how much work it is--and how worth it everything is! I do wish we could have the jello wrestling somehow though! All we do is dive for dollar coins now--not nearly as much fun to watch!
