Avril, your mom was my Sunday school teacher when I was little, before beginning elementary school. I have a picture of our Sunday school class with her in in it. My mom, Daisy Morse, was friends with your mom. I always thought your mom was the…
George graduated in 1971. He passed away November 22, 2010. I am an employee of Cox Health. I am a member of First United Methodist Church here in Cabool. We have one Daughter; Amber (Darter) Luna (who attended Cabool Schools for several years) and her Husband; Jason, who live in the Vanzant area.
Avril,
Glad you joined. I get to see Amber once in awhile when we have a closing at Mountain Grove. Are you still linving on the same farm? I remember the farm from growing up and having all of us kids ride the same bus. Remind George that I was the pesty little girl that usually ended up on the front seat behind Delbert, because all of the older kids got tired of me buggin the heck out of them.
Those were the good ole days. George probably doesn't remember me, but I remember him and the way he kept some of the other big kids from picking on me when I became too much of a pest.
Hope things are going well for you all and love the pictures.
Avril, Do you remember me? I know you do. Glad to see you on this site and love the photos. Your another one of those people who just don't age at all. What do ;you people take? Good to see you. I still think about your mom. Joe Stark
I will stop in and see her in WP. Do you all live close to my cousin Hershel Smallwood? I used to know a lot of people out that way, but it has been awhile.
Talk to you soon,
Patsy
Avril, mom told me about Barbara and it broke my heart knowing that she was fullfilling her dream and moving back to Cabool when all of this happened. How is her son doing with all of this? I haven't seen either of you in years. When I go to Cabool and go up to the high school, I am ALWAYS reminded of your mother being that you all lived so close. When I was small, I always remember that english accent and how I thought she talked sooo funny. I remember every Sunday before church going by and picking up your mom. Joe
Hi! Mom said HI and to tell you that we are all fine. How is George doing? Grandma Helen is doing fine, she is working summer school (mom is working with her so she can keep an eye on her)
