Hi Carolyn,
Yes Crystal Matherly was my mother. She passed away last year. She would have loved this site. I miss her a lot- especially since I am just now in the phase of my life where I am having little ones.

She lived in Nevada when it happened... heart attack in her sleep. However, I did have her brought back to be buried next to my grandparents. Even though she had traveled all over, Cabool was home for her. I have a brother, Jon, who is 6 years older than me. He has 3 daughters and two grandchildren and is a travel nurse.

I remember the name and the pictures look vaguely familiar, but I am finding out more and more that once I start talking with everyone I remember more than I think. Yes, mom is still around and living at Landmark Villa in Cabool. She will be 91 this April. She is still her sweet, wonderful self. I am so happy for Judi. David is such a wonderful guy and they are both so happy and are so good to each other. I am not sure what all is being planned for the reunion weekend. But, there is a parade, get together at the gymnasium and alumni park(which is next to the new gym) the volleyball tournament and the football game, also there are different classes planning get togethers and everyone is always welcome to crash our classes gathering. We could never just hang out with our own classmates and we are kinda the social butterflies. I know 65, 69, and 77 are all planning reunions. I am sure there are others, but those I know of for sure. I will try to find out what exactly is planned and let you know.

just an added note, I know that Judi and Vicki are working on your classes get together, I think there is something planned at Paula Grisham Walls, but not for sure. I haven;t talked with them in awhile about reunion things. But, I will have Judi get hold of you with details.

I am not going to be able to attend... I so wish I could... Our family reunion is the week end after.. And my sister is getting married at the reunion.. My husband is not able to be left for very long at a time. I have to get his sister to take cre of him while I am away.. And I couldn't ask her to do that again.. so soon. And he really wants me around, you know how that is... I just wish it was at a differnet week end...

I had thought about coming, but It just isn't a good idea... he has diabetes,congestive heart failure and emphysema... he has been sick this winter a lot. so you know how that is... things happen... I would love to be there... I would really like to see you all again.....

Carolyn, Good to hear from you. Lord, another birthday. They do keep coming don't they. No, we won't be making trip to Missouri this summer, but I'll miss seeing everyone. Take care.
