- Not much to tell. After being gone for 17 or 18 yrs. moved back here after I got out of the Army. Wanted to raise my kids here so my wife Mary and the kids came back here to live while I finished up with uncle sam. Did my time in the Army. I don't talk much of that. Anyways, I work at DFA, Inc. and have been there going on 14 yrs. All 3 of the kids have graduated and are working. Nicole lives in Springfield. Chris is in the Air Force, doing his second tour in Iraq. And Dustin lives in Springfield.

- Glad you made it to the site. We have been having a great time chatting and catching up with each other on here. Like the hair (or should i say the lack of it). My oldest son has shaved his for the last 5-6 years. It looks strange to look at his old pictures and see him with long hair, since he has shaved it for such a long time. He decided it was much easier and eveb pulled back it would get in his way.
If you haven't joined our class of '77 group, please do.
We will all keep Chris in our prayers. It seems like there are several graduates from Cabool in Iraq currently or they are just getting ready to go.
You need to add some pictures on here of the family and your motorcycle.

- I guess this is the best way to answer everyone. So here goes. Thanks for the welcome and yeah count me in as part of 77! As everyone else I also wondered what happened to most of us. I know that we all eventually move on and live our lives....such as they are.....working, sleeping and maybe a vacation here and there. Hope to see you all at the next reunion. Stay safe all.

Chris Cabano said… - hey dad, how's it going. i wish we had some big building to stay in. we have a little 8 x 8 yeah there is a/c but really it is just cooler air then what is outside. we are working out of their old aircraft shelters, which we have modified best we can. got a/c in them, but really just cool air. it is hotter than heck here. hasn't been below 116 in days. even at night it didn't get below 100 for a couple days. good times though, we have it easier here than a lot of other places. still haven't found out how much longer here, leave when they tell me to leave i guess. how is everyone back home doing? tell mom and everyone i said hi. love you guys and miss you

- i wish it was 88x88. yeah it's manageable, just sucks still. tell you what though, this is the best chow hall i've had in a very long time. and it's run by the army, go figure. you grunts sure do make good cooks.
