- Looking down memory lane- I remember as a young girl before I started school how my Dad use to work at the election polls at Elk Creek School, and even when I started school at Elk Creek during the first 3 grades of my life, sometime in those yrs when he worked the polls one yr and you took us to your house to break the boredom. You read us lots of storybooks which we really enjoyed and fed us good stuff to eat!!! When I was in high school, you became my typing teacher next door to Mrs. Plummer and taught me the basic class of typing, which I want to say has helped me tremendously to do what I do today, and for that I want to say a big THANK YOU. I will always remember you and your parents from Elk Creek.

Were your ears burning yesterday? Cheryl, Mark, and I had a family meeting about Dad and were wondering whether anyone had seen or heard from you and Gary.
My wife, Sherri, and I stopped at your house last year when we were in Cabool and nobody was home. We weren't sure if you still lived there or not. We'll be getting our taxes done in Cabool again within the next few weeks and we'll be sure to call first this time.
