"Hi Patty, I hope you remember who I am. My folks bought your old farm in our senior year. How are you and how is your family. We left Cabool in 76 and have only been back 2 times. I assume the old farm is still there?"

About Me:
I am married to my high school sweetheart, Paul Dixon. We have three children and three grandsons. I started working in a medical office in 1979 and I'm still working in that field. I've changed my job title a couple of times along the way. The rest of the time I'm a basketball coach's wife, mother and GiGi (grandmother). (When the first grandson came along, that name made it easier for me to transition into my new role.) Paul's been teaching and coaching at Sparta for several years now. Funny how God has plans for you that you weren't expecting. When Paul got ready to coach he said that he would never coach at Sparta. Look where we are at! I tried telling him he should say "I'll never coach at Duke!" We're still waiting.

Patty,
Glad you finally joined us. I think it is so amazing that we lived within 6 miles of each other for almost 11 years and never ran into each other. We are glad to be back closer to home, but do miss our friends at Willard and in the Elwood community.
Do you still have the never-ending sanding coffee table? I think of that every time I sand something!!! The story of your beautiful coffee table has been one I shared with my students over the years about perseverance and the benefit of hard work. The kids were always enthralled with the story and when I showed them pictures of it they were in awe. Just wish the picture had been in color, but used the one from the year book. We had some good times in that class and poor Coach Hale, he sure had his hands full with the three musketeers!!! I had the pleasure of working with him for 3 years.
Have a super week and we will have to catch up on everything when we both have a little more time.

NO!!! But, I did remind them that there wasn't as single place on the hill they could hide that I didn't know about and no matter where they tried to go to ditch school I could find them. Made believers out of them. But, they were all so much fun. I enjoyed working with high school students and they really were just little kids in bigger bodies.

Hey there! I think I last saw you at our 10 year reunion. Or maybe it was 20. Time sure flies, doesn't it? Maybe we can bump into one another some time before we're too old to recognize each other, or too old to remember our own names....
