No, I didn't know that. Uncle Les isn't really forthcoming with stuff like that. He doesn't want Grandma to know because it worries her and he does'nt like that. He doesn't tell me, unless I ask. It's pretty tough, I…

Leslie wrote me on facebook and told me. I don't know what happened but I hope you both work it out. You have some nice pictures. I enjoyed looking a them.
Well, I have had to do some digging, but I found Marvin and Leslie. Marvin is currently in Salem, MO. He has a Myspace or facebook or something like that. I don't have time to keep with those... Now Leslie is in Buffalo, MO (near Springfield).…
I ran the Race for the Cure this past Sunday along with 28,000+ people! Talk about one crazy place. 93 degrees was tough to run in and that was at 7:30am! I think they are going to try and schedule next year's race in October when its cooler.…

Hey, how are you doin? I'm good. My daughter is gone to her Mom's in Oklahoma for the summer, I do miss her, but it gives me time to hit the road on my Harley. I'm sorry to hear about your Dad. I'm still the Black sheep of my…
Hey Tami, the Race for the Cure 5K is coming up on August 9th at Union Station in downtown Kansas City. Interested? My son, John, his girlfriend and I are going to run it; should be a good time. Lots of runners; that's for sure. The Hospital…
Tammy! I have to apologize for not writing as much, I was working my classroom and the family was giving a hand. So, where are you at now? I hear you run. Cool. I have done a 5K or two; the last was quite a few years ago and ran it 29:32. I almost…
I live in Springfield. I work for the public schools. I have two boys Cody 16 and Michael 6. My husband is Mike Lyons and he works at St. John's Hospital. I still enjoy to run and have ran a few 5k's. My oldest is in track and does pretty good in relay's and the long jump. Michael is in baseball. I love watching my kids in sports. We still visit the farm in Elk Creek, but as time has changed so has the farm.
Hey Tami! First, thank you for the compliment!!! Its the tons of "youth cream"!!!! You haven't changed a bit and I'm happy to hear you run the 5Ks as well. I just ran the Hospital Hill Run here in Kansas City last month and on 7/25, I have another in Overland Park. 3.2 miles is a lot further than a 400m!!! My husband does the triathlons and the 10Ks; that's a tad too far for me. His last race was a 60 miler! Definitely not for me!!! You've got some handsome boys and life sounds like its going great for you! I'm back in MO after being gone for 13 years; my husband finally retired from the army after 21 years but he's back to working for the DOD and yes, he's back over in Iraq/Afghanistan. I wouldn't recommend the military life to just anyone; its tough but my husband loves the work he does so when he's ready to quit, he will and then as he says he'll "get a normal job"! Well, gotta run to work but I'm so glad to hear from you! Take care! Joy
Of course I remember you! You were quite fast in track. I t has been a long time. I will be down for my 25th next summer if all goes as planned. Hope to see you then.
Hey Tami, if you're ever up in the KC Metro area, let me know and I'll find a race for us to run in. The race next month is from Johnson Cty Community College to the KU Edwards campus in Overland Park. Its a flat and fast course, which is so much better than the Hospital Hill run where there were hills throughout the course and then the killer 5% incline hill; tough!!! My best time in the 5K is 23:52; I'm still hoping to do a sub20; we'll see. As I get older, it gets so much harder!!! There is a usually a 5K almost every month in and around the KC Metro area; that's what I love about living up here. There is always something to do. I work about 10 minutes from the Chiefs and Royals stadiums and about 30 minutes from Worlds of Fun although I really don't care for that kind of stuff. My husband hates crowds and really doesn't care for the city as he is from a small town in KS. Look me up if you're ever find yourself up here! I'm at joyfales@yahoo.com; drop me an email! A 27 minute 5K is awesome; nothing to be embarrassed about! Good luck to you in your next race and keep on runnin'!!! Me
Hey there!! So glad to see you on here. I'm really sorry to hear about your dad, I'll let my mom know. We sure did have a lot of fun in track. I love all of your pictures! Keep in touch, we just live in the next town!!!
hey it was great cg a message from you. Sorry it took me so long to reply, work and all just keeps me going, and having 3 teenagers its a wonder i even get a chance on the computer.
Tammy! I have to apologize for not writing as much, I was working my classroom and the family was giving a hand. So, where are you at now? I hear you run. Cool. I have done a 5K or two; the last was quite a few years ago and ran it 29:32. I almost coughed up a lung, but oh well. I live in West Plains, been here for 20 years (can't believe it's been that long...) Have 3 kids and I'm a teacher for Mt. Grove (Computer Repair). Done with my Masters and hopefully going to help Josie (wife) get her's. Went to Korea to teach English (06-07) and had a great time, now the family wants to go back next summer for vacation.
Haven't seen or heard from Sis in 18 years. Wish I could tell you more about what she's done or where she's at, but no one in the family knows.
Write me and let me know what's up! jhines86@gmail.com
Hey Tami, the Race for the Cure 5K is coming up on August 9th at Union Station in downtown Kansas City. Interested? My son, John, his girlfriend and I are going to run it; should be a good time. Lots of runners; that's for sure. The Hospital Hill Run had 5500 runners; that was a blast! Out of 721 women, I placed 121st; terrible but oh well. The women's 5K winner was a 44yo and she ran a 20:53! That's pretty crazy but its still a goal of mine; the infamous sub20!!! So, let me know if you're interested. I'd love to see ya and its been 20+ years since we last ran a race together! Talk to you soon!
Hey, how are you doin? I'm good. My daughter is gone to her Mom's in Oklahoma for the summer, I do miss her, but it gives me time to hit the road on my Harley. I'm sorry to hear about your Dad. I'm still the Black sheep of my family, Lol. Don't see much of them, b/c we don't see eye to eye. Its easier to distance yourself from them than to battle with them constantly. You have a good looking family.
