Do you tent camp? We like to camp,it is a great way to have "family time". I have been working a lot this summer and Ethan has been keeping us busy with swim team and baseball. We are leaving for Florida next weekend. The kids are excited about that. Have a great week!!
We have a 23 foot RV with a few feet extra for a queen bed slide out in the back (Air Conditioned). My wife got tired of tent camping (heat and repacking everytime) about 4 years ago. We are thinking seriously about trading it for a little longer one with a slide out on the side so we won't feel so cramped. We did the Disneyworld thing last year. Have a good time in Florida.
Yes, I resigned from school. That was hard to do. Our trip to Florida was good. I was sad the peer was not repaired from the hurricanes-the kids LOVE to hang out there, fish, and eat hotdogs. We went to the dog races, that was fun. I was sad we missed the Blue Angels do their show. We have never went to Disney, maybe next time. Next vacation we are talking about heading west and camping the whole way. what do you think? Have a great day!!
You should go to DisneyWorld sometime just for the experience. Truthfully you probably need to spend about 10 days there to get to do everything. Don't worry about driving in the 28,000 acre park because shuttle buses will take you where you want to go as long as you stay on the property. Our first camping trip in the RV was a 3000 mile round trip with my wife's twin sister's family. We spent some time in South Dakota (that's where my wife is from originally). The roads are great there. Custer State Park is beautiful. You can see Mt. Rushmore and Crazy Horse (we didn't get to see it though). I recommend visiting Deadwood SD. There are many very small gambling facilities there. It is a very interesting town. We headed over to Yellowstone (my second time seeing it). We came back through the grand tetons. Was a nice trip.
Thanks Terry, I'll give Anna an email and you are right, that email address no longer works. Thanks. I have a blast playing detective and I can't believe they pay me to do it. Loved S of O and if I had it all to do over again, I would go back there. Thanks for your help. Joe Stark
Terry,
Hey there...how's it goin in the Show-Me State Capital City?
I see a few fellow Class of '81'ers on here....but not enough. Should we do some recruiting?
What is new with you and your family since I saw you last summer at the Mouse House?
We were in Missouri a month ago for a couple weeks of R&R.....seems like the Summer "flew-by" and now school begins next Monday.
I see that you have traveled and camped around the state/country....where are the pictures? We want to see the pictures!
Well take care for now and talk at ya later!
