Hey, you! Anne (Coats), Lynn (Reese), and I crashed your reunion on Saturday, but you were not there!
You are retired, and I am still working--where's the justice here??

Seven grandkids- wow. We just welcomed our first 6 months ago. I too spent 31 years in the classroom. Now I'm just teaching a couple days a week. I like the flexibility!
HI JAN,
I am retired also. I did get bored and have a part time job working with kids in the juvenile system. I had a good trip to Cabool and saw lots of folks! Randy has a good picture of the football team. I took Steve Forsythe to Oklahoma for a day and we had a good day. Saw Steve Mitchem at the Alumni Game! He looks good and is still at Missouri Southern. Come to Oregon sometime!

Sorry to hear about your parents. I knew that your dad had died, but I didn't know about your mom. My folks moved to Springfield in 1973 ( the year I finished college) as Dad was transferred to the Mid Am plant there. My mom also died almost 4 years ago, but Dad is going strong at 83. In fact we generally have to call before we stop by anymore as he is out with friends practically every day--which is great. He has several lunch groups and supper groups that he goes with. He is still in Springfield. My older sister and her husband moved to Cabool before I was out of college. They were only going to be there a year as he was just getting back from Vietnam. Well, 34 years later they are still there. Both retired from the school district--it was the only place they ever taught--Gary and Janet Maggard. --Social studies would have been my next subject area--in fact I always liked it better than English! I really majored in theater, but my advisor told me to also get a major in English if I wanted a job. Smart man! Hope to see you at the next reunion, if not sooner!
You ARE on a roll! I wish we could get more of us on here! You may have to do what the rest of us have done.......get our kids or grandkids to help with photos etc! There seems to be a "computer" gap somewhere....... there are so many of the 'younger' crowd on here. But that's a pretty relative term, huh? It took me forever to get the class group set up & to add some of my photos...... when i finally got it done, couldn't remember how i did it! HA! I'm going to try to add another photo of my grandaughter, Grey. She is really a hoot! Not sure how some of you guys can handle more than 1!!! Of course, my son is an only child, so evidently I've felt that way for a while! HA!
Hi,
Blackjack of course!! The new casino has part of it's parking lot in Missouri! It's alot closer that Tunica!
My father passed away of Oct. 8th last year so about the same time.
We are planning the class reunion on Memorial weekend. Probably Saturday afternoon. there will be an all School reunion at the same time so should be a good time to come. If you are coming let us know if you need a place to stay. Did you look on the "69" site for the pic?
Jim
