WOW - What a way to start a site!!!!

CHS Alumni

I have to admit when I published this site on Friday (5/9) mid-morning I had know idea it would take off so fast. This is quite incredible response.

My background is in web development and this tool I was researching for a few of our clients. At the same time my wife Joanne Walls was trying to organize the Volleyball tournament. I don't know about you I sure didn't want to pay for the premium services on Classmates.com so this was a great alternative.

Then I used Don Tottingham's main Cabool Alumni to find some email addresses. Then the rest is history.

So a big thanks to Don! for laying the ground work for the membership to this site.

I just wanted to post a little blog on how/why I got this site rolling and say its a lot of fun to find old friends and see pictures/news about what they are doing these days.

I'm trying to do my part to spread the word & get more people registered on both! Don sure has done a lot of work on the alumni site, and the "social" network seems to be taking off really well, offering a different venue. We just need to get more people to register their email on the alumni page with their email address! thanks to both of you for such an amazing effort!
